Ceridian highly commended by the IPP
— 7 December 2007 —
Ceridian has been highly commended by the IPP (Institute of Payroll Professionals) for the award of IPP Employer of the Year.
The Employer of the Year award recognises employers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the development of their staff in payroll or pensions administration, and who can be seen as benchmark employers in terms of their successful promotion of professionalism and continuous skills and team development. The judges look particularly for evidence of such programmes from the payroll or pensions teams themselves, or other independent sources.
According to the IPP, "Ceridian’s nomination demonstrated that they have a strong commitment to staff development. They have a comprehensive induction programme to introduce new staff to the Ceridian culture, payroll basics and customer service standards. The judges also wanted to recognise Ceridian’s commitment to existing staff by introducing the IPP’s Payroll Quality Partnership programme to make sure that staff have required skills and knowledge to work to the best of their abilities."
Ceridian's Elanie Kruger added, "We are proud that our commitment to the development of employees has been recognised. In responding to the challenges faced in recruiting experienced employees, we have recognised the opportunity to provide career and development opportunities to new employees."
