We are proud that performance levels in Mauritius match those of the UK. This is thanks to our highly-trained employees in the Ebene CyberTower.

When we started our Mauritius operation, we found a young, motivated workforce that has grown up in a culture of learning. The general level of English is excellent, and our employees continue their written and spoken language training with us.

As an employer of choice, we highly value our human resources. We demonstrate this through the training we offer our employees and by continuously developing and coaching our people. Specifically, for payroll operations, new recruits go through a rigorous six-week training programme which covers the following elements:

  • Introduction & UK Legislative Skills
  • Payroll in practice
  • Systems training (Payroll Applications)
  • Customer care
  • Business Writing
  • Telephony skills

In addition to our payroll team, a Billing Team was created in September 2003 with the aim of reducing the billing processing time by utilising the 3-4 hour time difference between Mauritius and the UK.

Our IT experts have been present since the inception of our offshore presence. They create and sustain web and Microsoft Windows®-based applications, with a very strong focus on the quality of products delivered as part of the Ceridian brand.

We believe that the key reason why the Ceridian operation in Mauritius is so successful is because we are truly working as one team. An extensive knowledge sharing and transfer programme between Mauritius staff and UK staff ensures that we maintain the highest possible levels of service and quality.
