CCN Regional Meetings
CCN Regional Meetings
The first regional Ceridian Customer Network (CCN) meetings of the year took place this week, and were a resounding success. Connection was at the Coventry event, where delegates were given a full range of product and legislative updates as well as a chance to share their experiences of Ceridian and suggest ways in which both products and services might be improved.
First on the agenda was news of Ceridian Corporation’s purchase, taking the company into private ownership. Ceridian was purchased for £5.3bn towards the end of 2007, with the new owners endorsing both the corporate management and strategy. A five-year plan for growth has been implemented, putting Ceridian and our customers in a position of strength.
Ceridian’s Sue Grundy gave a product update, starting with some essential new security features that have been introduced to Ceridian’s payroll solutions. New features in Online Payroll Documents and Ceridian Online Reporting were also presented.
With April and Tax Year End rapidly approaching, the “Carter 2” legislation was one of the hot topics of these
regional CCNs. Ceridian’s long experience of e-filing at HMRC means that those customers who have signed up are ready – our “electronic exchange” is in-year ready.
The customer experience was led by Jacquelynn Middleton from Inviron Ltd., with the burning question “What would you do if you had £5m to spend on Ceridian?” Some of the responses included advanced, flexible reporting, and more tailor-made customer training.
As always, the regional CCN event was a great opportunity for us to meet face-to-face with our customers, and for our customers to network with their peers. Join us this summer at the CCN Annual Conference for 2008 - and catch the March issue of Connection for more details!
It was a very informative meeting and it was good to meet people in the same areas of business, as well as discuss different issues.Julie Pearson, Pragon Finance
