Achieving growth: Ceridian offering and government initiative

On 12 March 2008 the Government announced the launch of its new Enterprise Strategy - the vision of which is to make the UK the most enterprising economy in the world and the best place to start and grow a business. Designed to unlock the nation’s entrepreneurial talents, the enterprise strategy also aims to boost skills and knowledge and to aid start-up and new and existing businesses to achieve the funding to grow.

The move follows six months of extensive consultation and economic analysis, and to assist small businesses, the government has released information on regulation and tax, and invited feedback from SME's. The feedback will influence policy proposals which will impact on business and small companies, and the Enterprise Directorate is looking for ways to implement policy that is SME-friendly and allows for successful compliance.

Smaller business and enterprise needs
