David O’Connor joins Ceridian as Marketing and Commercial Services Director

Ceridian has announced the appointment of David O’Connor to the newly created role of marketing and commercial services director.  Reporting directly to Nigel Polglass, chief marketing and sales officer, David will be responsible for further strategic development of both functions with a view to streamlining the operations and providing focus.

Commenting on the appointment, Nigel Polglass said: “David is an excellent addition to the team.  He brings a wealth of experience from the outsourcing market and has a proven track record as a strategist, having devised and implemented plans to deliver value and increase growth.”   

David comes from a consultancy background, having worked for twelve years in senior positions with Hays Plc.  More recently David founded and ran a successful marketing and strategy consultancy business delivering strategy planning programmes to leading blue chip organisations.
