Timesheets

The Timesheets feature gives you the opportunity to pre-populate timesheets and apply business rules. Many businesses use Timesheets as a key control document for the payment of staff with variable and flexible working hours. Ceridian Workforce Management reduces the risk of error and time spent re-checking, and greatly enhances data accuracy in accordance with your business rules.

Rostering

Rostering is the allocation of available employees to work for a given time period and Ceridian Workforce Management makes rostering easy. A weekly roster can be automatically built for the department manager, and normal working patterns can be overlaid with holiday and absences, taken directly from the system.

Other business rules can be applied, such as having a Health & Safety trained person on each shift, and the forward roster can be costed to produce predicted costs against budget.

A further module allows you to use key sales patterns and drivers to specify the ideal number of employees to be allocated to meet the required activity. The Forecast and Workload module gives your business the opportunity to move beyond thinking about cost reduction and to explore areas of revenue enhancement.

Point-and-click

Ceridian Workforce Management has been designed to give line managers the power and the ability to make compliant and business-enhancing decisions when scheduling their people. None of this would be possible without our intuitive, simple Point-and-Click interface, which graphically illustrates the impact of each decision.

An example of this is within the Scheduling module, which helps businesses with regulated labour markets or high turnovers of staff, where automated schedules are not possible. Line managers can quickly add staff using the Point-and-Click method, select tasks and highlight time periods on the schedule. The module immediately presents a list of employees who are available, with rostered hours available and the right capabilities. Clicking on the employee will fill the schedule.
