Ceridian’s EAP goes mobile
The new mobile app allows the users of our EAP (Employee Assistance Programme), LifeWorks, to access information and request the support services they need in a way that feels safe and comfortable for them.
Ceridian LifeWorks is a proactive support service that helps employees, managers, and their families with day-to-day issues, from finding childcare or financial advice right through to health assessments, counselling and crisis management.
Almost 50% of the UK population owns a smartphone – so it’s an increasingly important communication channel to engage with employees, especially as the breadth of services covered by LifeWorks cross over into an individual’s personal time – relationships, health and wellbeing advice for example.
It’s important to recognise that employees can also often feel safer, and more comfortable when outside of their work environment to ask for support. The app supports this, and offers another way for users to access the online resources and telephone helpline directly.
We have worked hard to develop a mobile app formatted for easy navigation, so that employees can readily access resources and tools when and where they need them.
