Award winners at the 2013 Ceridian UK Customer Conference

Roll of honour in HCM transformation and innovation

At its 2013 Customer Conference, Ceridian, one of the UK’s leading HCM technology and service providers, recognised the achievements of its customers and partners in front of over 600 HR, payroll and finance professionals. Award winners included Marks & Spencer, Direct Line Group and Royal Mail.

Our awards recognise those customers who have achieved major success – in some cases transformational – in the deployment of leading edge HCM technology and service to add value to their businesses. We also recognise our key partners who helped deliver that success.

The awards presented, with supporting citations, were:

Most Effective HR or Payroll Transformation (Large Organisation) – Winner: Marks & Spencer

“Marks and Spencer is firmly down the journey of transforming its relationships with its colleagues. This transformation is huge in both scope and in scale, affecting every one of its 75,000 employees. Ceridian has provided the technology and service foundation upon which Marks and Spencer has built a new engagement between employer and employee.”

Most Effective HR or Payroll Transformation (Mid-sized Organisation/SME) – Winner: Zodiak Media Group

“Zodiak Media Group is one of the world’s leading creators, producers and distributors of content for TV, radio, new media and cinema. It is an innovative group with substantial growth opportunities. Ceridian has supported the group in changing its relationship with its employees, improving its employer and HR brand. The group enjoys higher retention levels and better engagement with its highly mobile workforce.”

Project of the Year: SaaS – Winner: Direct Line Group

“Direct Line Group, the retail general insurer, required payroll to be set up from scratch for its 14,000 employees within a very tight timeframe. All the technology and processes required to ensure payroll accuracy of over 99.5 per cent were up and running within six months of the project being given the green light.”

Project of the Year: Technology – Winner: Royal Mail

“As the sole provider of the Universal Service in the UK, Royal Mail Group reaches everyone. It delivers six days a week to over 29 million addresses across the UK and is a key component of the UK’s economic and social infrastructure, providing services to private individuals, companies and communities. Outsourced payroll was set up within a record four-month timeframe for its rapidly changing, temporary employee population. The latter enjoy vastly increased payroll accuracy above 99.9 per cent and a significant reduction in employee payroll queries.”

Best Customer Use of Ceridian SaaS products – Winner: Hewden

UK & Ireland Partner of the Year – Winner: activ8 intelligence

International Partner of the Year – Winner: e-Paye

Its long track record ensures customer retention levels above 95 per cent.”
