Ceridian UK employees recognised with 2013 CIPP Award wins

Angela Edgar, operations team manager, and Andrea Greaves, senior payroll executive, at Ceridian UK, one of the UK’s leading HCM technology and service providers, have been recognised at the 2013 Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) Awards. Angela Edgar won the Manager of the Year Award and Andrea Greaves won Individual of the Year Award.

Angela is a highly regarded member of the Ceridian Glasgow managed payroll team. She is a shining example of someone who embraces our values in particular to be customer focused. As a leader, she is visible, approachable, confident and inspirational. Angela is also one of the leaders in our tax year end team for the whole of Ceridian and has been influential in reducing costs and improving productivity in the Glasgow managed payroll team. Productivity has improved by 22.2 per cent and the cost/revenue ratio has improved by 6.28 percentage points under her leadership.

Andrea Greaves, Senior Payroll Executive, Ceridian UK – CIPP ‘Individual of the Year Award’ 2013

A highly regarded member of the Ceridian Leeds managed payroll team, Andrea is another outstanding example of someone who embraces our values, particularly to be customer driven. She is focused, resilient and always looks for continuous improvement. In the past year, she has improved the accuracy on the payrolls she manages, moving one particularly complex customer to 100 per cent pay cycle after pay cycle. She has also managed to improve productivity, as well as quality, increasing productivity by 45 per cent over the last 12 months.

The CIPP Annual Payroll and Pensions Excellence Awards took place at the CIPP Annual Payroll and Pensions Conference on the 26 September 2013. Now in their tenth year, the awards were established to recognise individuals and organisations in the industry who demonstrate payroll and/or pensions excellence within their organisation, and therefore the positive impact on the UK economy.
